Xinna states that Hada is not guilty, because: 1), The court has misused the law; 2), There are no legal basis and legal evidences proving that Hada has committed the "Crime of Splitting the Country and Engaging in Espionage"; 3), Marx-Leninism never denies "nationality self-determination". The CCP 6th Congress and "CCP 3-5 Declaration" have also guaranteed this right to the minority nationalities; 4), Referendum is an affective measure to solving the nationality problems and ethnic conflicts. Therefore, proposing a referendum to solve Inner Mongolian problems is not a crime of "Splitting the Country"; 5), "The Way Out of Southern Mongolia" by Hada is just a book discussing about the idea of solving Inner Mongolian nationality problems. It has nothing to do with the "Crime of Spitting the Country"; 6), All publications, gatherings, and discussions by Hada were just proposed to provide Mongolian students with an environment in which they can exchange their ideas of how to promote Mongolian tradition, culture, and language etc. 7), Confessions obtained by force and deception should not become any legal evidence for deciding the case; 8), Distributing Document No.13 (1994), a CCP document widely circulated among the cadres, teachers, and students in Inner Mongolia, can not constitute the "Crime of Engaging in Espionage".
