About Update	English (USA)
Hada, a school teacher in Southern (Inner) Mongolia, was jailed and arrested for running a small bookstore and publishing a version of Southern Mongolian history that the Authorities did not agree with. In Dec. 1996 he was sentenced to 15 years in prison for a crime that would not be recognized in any free country. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Update Archives.

Subscribing to Update
